If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, you can desist from use.

The content of the pages of this website is for your general information and use only. It is subject to change without notice. Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose.

Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be held liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meets your specific requirements


CANCELLATION POLICY

We abide by a strict 24-hour cancellation policy for all appointments whether made via email, in person, online or by telephone. If you wish to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask you to give us a minimum of 24  hours’ notice so we can offer you a more convenient time and help you avoid a cancellation fee. Failure to notify us within 24 hours will result in the loss of the appointment and 100% cancellation fee (20,000) or loss of a course item. For all other treatments, the treatment deposit will be charged if adequate notice is not made. Cancellations can be made in person, phone or email – we are open 6 days a week.

Cancellations outside the policy time will be charged at the cost of the treatment or taken out of the course of treatments. If you do not attend your appointment, this will result in the loss of your deposit or your treatment being redeemed. No refunds will be given to cancelled or rescheduled bookings.

Prior to your appointment, we will inform you of any preparation required for your treatment. If you do not follow the guidance this may result in cancellation of your appointment, reduced treatment time, or additional fees being charged.


ONLINE BOOKINGS

Please fill out all required fields and provide a valid email address and telephone number when registering for online booking. To secure your online booking, we will call you to confirm you are happy with time and date selected. If we are unable to get you over the phone for confirmation, the booking will be cancelled.

Should you need to cancel your booking outside of 24 hours’ notice, please call the clinic to rebook, failure to not show up or breach this will prevent you from being able to make future bookings.


TREATMENT COURSES

All treatments purchased as a course must be paid for in full at the time of purchase. Treatment courses are non-refundable and non-transferable between accounts.

All treatment courses (except laser treatments*) in a package of 3,6 and 8 must be taken within 12 months of the date of purchase; any treatments left untaken after 12 months will be forfeited.

Payments: All treatments must be paid for at the time of the appointment. Please arrive at least 15 minutes in advance of your appointment time, to book in, make payment and complete the necessary paperwork.  All treatments purchased as a course or package must be paid for in full, prior to the first treatment.

Package or course expiry: All treatments from a course (except tattoo removal) must be taken within 12 months of the date of purchase; any treatments left unused after 12 months will be automatically redeemed and a new package will need to be purchased.

Tattoo removal package or course expiry: treatments must be taken within 24 months of the date of purchase; any treatments left unused after 24 months will be automatically redeemed.

(*To ensure the laser treatment is as effective as possible we recommend that the course is completed within this time frame. Treatment courses that have expired will not be extended.).


PATCH TESTS 

For your safety, we require you to have a patch test before we can provide you with any tinting or laser services.

HIFU treatments require a minimum of 5 days before treatment can commence.

Laser treatments require a minimum of 24 hours before treatment. Clients with darker skin types may be asked to wait longer following a laser patch test to ensure a safe treatment.

Following the appropriate waiting period, we will be happy to treat you safely.

If you have overly sensitive skin or any specific allergies that may be affected by our treatments or products, we also recommend a patch test. You will be asked to fill out a medical questionnaire before your treatment. This is for use by your therapist to ensure your treatment is 100% safe.

We cannot be held responsible if you do not disclose any medications or condition that may affect your treatment. Please inform your therapist or technician of any changes in your health on subsequent visits.

If you are unsure if you can have a particular treatment for any reason, please speak to a member of staff at least 24 hours before your appointment.


LASER

All laser treatments must first have a patch test to determine your eligibility.

To assess the treatment area for a laser hair removal patch test, hair must be present in the area.

Subsequent laser hair removal treatments, following the patch test, must have a complete absence of hair. The area must be shaved a day before the appointment to ensure no stubble is present.

Laser hair removal is subjective and a small percentage of people will not respond satisfactorily to treatment. 

If you believe you are having an abnormal reaction to a laser patch test, this must be assessed by a laser technician as soon as possible. The Clinic must be called within 48 hours of the patch test, so we may be able to book you in with our laser technician to assess your skin. If it is determined that your skin is contraindicated to laser treatments, your course purchase will be refunded to you.


CLIENTS WITH RESTRICTED ACCESS

We cannot treat clients who are pregnant or breast-feeding. Clients prohibited for medical reasons or any other reason too. Please be advised not to attempt to make a booking whilst you are on restricted status, either by telephone, walk-in, email or online booking, as this will result in your appointment being cancelled and you will be charged in full for the appointment, or you will lose a course session, as per the cancellation policy. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time.


PRIVACY

Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to maintaining the privacy of any personal information we collect from you. We do not share any of your personal information with any third-party organizations.

Our practitioners will photograph you pre and post treatment for your clinical record. These images are kept private and are for record keeping purposes only, in line with legislation.

The practitioners may wish to share the before and after images through our media channels. If this happens, you will always be asked for consent prior. A Media Release consent form will be given to you in clinic, which will detail the full agreement. You can decline this if you wish to.


DEPOSITS

To secure an appointment, a refundable deposit is required. Your deposit will then be redeemed against the value of the treatment or consultation fee. 

We take a small deposit to secure the time slot ( N20,000).  If you wish to book a treatment on the day, a deposit will be taken for the treatment. The deposit amount will depend on the price of the treatment that you wish to have. Should you not want to go ahead with the treatment or if you are unsuitable for the treatment the deposit fee is non-refundable. 

We take a fully non refundable deposit of N20,000 when booking a single treatment. The deposit can be redeemed against treatment fees. Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask that you call us no less than 24 hours-notice prior to your appointment. Please be aware of our business opening hours when calling to reschedule or cancel, to ensure you give us the correct notice period. 

We thus advise all our patients to have a consultation first so that we can review the Medical History and ensure that the treatment you wish to have is the right one for you.

When you attend your appointment in clinic, and wish to make a future booking, a booking deposit will be required to secure your next appointment. Any recall appointment or future appointment will not be confirmed without a deposit at the time of booking.


PRICING AND PAYMENTS

Pricing: Consultation and treatment prices may vary especially during promotional periods. Please refer to pricing on the website or call the clinic.

Treatment quotations: where a client has been given a quote that is not subject to promotional discounts, this price will be honored for up to 1 week.

Card payments: We ask that you make payment via card


REFUNDS

We have a no refund policy on all treatments and products. Purchases of any treatments, treatment courses are NON – REFUNDABLE and NON- TRANSFERABLE to another individual, however can be transferred to alternative aesthetic treatments for you or a credit note within 14 days of purchase. Credit note will expire after 1 month, and 12 months for pregnancy. Credit note for courses that have commenced will be calculated based on individual treatment price and will lose the benefit of the discounted course price. Purchases of any products are non-refundable for hygiene reasons.


LATE ARRIVALS

We kindly request you to arrive on time for your appointment to avoid waiting time at reception due to Covid safety. We try our best to accommodate late arrival however there may be times where your treatment time may have to be reduced or rescheduled to another date. If the treatment has to be moved, the late cancellation fee will apply. If you are running late to meet your appointment booking, please let Laser & Beauty Aesthetics By Shiela know so that we can try and alter surrounding appointment bookings accordingly.

If you are late, the available time remaining for your treatment session may mean that it is cut short. This will not be made up for at another time or appointment booking.

Laser & Beauty Aesthetics By Shiela try to run the clinic appointments on time and efficiently, however there are always occasions when bookings run behind schedule due to factors beyond our control. If you are kept waiting, please understand that you will be seen as soon as possible. Should we need to cancel, or postpone your appointment for any reason, at short notice, we will make every effort to contact you in advance and rebook your appointment


TREATMENTS DISCLAIMER

We achieve significant results on many cases and strive to work with you to achieve the desired result. However, client’s results may vary from person and thus results are not guaranteed. This varies according to biological make up and response, diet, and lifestyle. Please also note we may recommend a change in your treatment programme during your course of treatments to meet your individual needs.  


LIABILITY

Laser & Beauty Aesthetics By Shiela will not be liable in contract, tort or otherwise for any economic loss (including, without limitation, loss of profit), or for any other special, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of, or in connection with, its provision of any goods and/or services to the client.

Clients will be required to read and sign the relevant consent forms prior to treatment. We are unable to provide any treatment without your written consent.

For your safety and that of others we ask that you read and adhere to the Safety Charter, in order for your treatment to be carried out.

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that they provide Laser & Beauty Aesthetics By Shiela with all relevant medical history and medication details prior to each treatment. We will not be liable for any damage that occurs as a result of the client’s failure to disclose such details.

The client agrees to comply with all instructions and/or recommendations given to them by, or on behalf of, Laser & Beauty Aesthetics By Shiela regarding the care of a treated area. Nothing in these terms of business shall exclude or limit Laser & Beauty Aesthetics By Shiela’s liability for death or any personal injury resulting from our negligence.


POLICY ON CHILDREN

We regret that we are unable to allow children to remain unaccompanied in the reception area. Our Front of House staff are neither trained nor insured to look after children, and we respectfully ask our clients to refrain from asking our receptionist to watch their children during treatments. For safety reasons, children are not allowed in the treatment room at any time.


POLICY ON PETS

We regret that we are unable to allow pets for hygiene reasons.


GIFT VOUCHERS

Please ensure that you bring your redeemable gift voucher to present upon payment. If full or partial payment for your visit is by a gift voucher, this will become void if you fail to arrive. However, we will be pleased to hold the balance of the value of the voucher for future use.

Laser & Beauty Aesthetics By Shiela’s gift vouchers must be redeemed within 1 month from the last date of use. We will not accept responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged gift vouchers. Please treat gift vouchers as cash.

Gift Vouchers that have been purchased are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, they are valid for 1 month. When booking your appointment please state the voucher number when booking the appointment and bring your gift voucher to your appointment. Any Gift Vouchers that have been won / gifted by Laser & Beauty Aesthetics By Shiela may have a shorter validity than 1 month


PROMOTIONAL OFFERS

All offers are limited to one offer per person and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or product purchases.


REFERRALS VOUCHER

For referral client, both the client that has referred and the client that has been referred receive a N5,000 voucher to use towards any treatments in the clinic. The referral voucher is valid for 1 month from the issue date, and only one voucher can be used per treatment or course of treatments.


COMPLAINTS POLICY

Complaints should be made by e-mail to the manager at Laser & Beauty Aesthetics By Shiela. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 5 working days. If your complaint is treatment-related the matter will be discussed with the relevant practitioner and may require you to attend an additional consultation with that practitioner. The objective of this is to provide an explanation or a solution to your concerns. Laser & Beauty Aesthetics By Shiela aims to give you a full written response within 10 working days, or where this is not possible, an explanation as to the cause of the delay.
