Seborrheic Keratosis Removal - The treatment to remove them is either by diathermy cauterisation which is the most precise method of removal without damaging other areas of skin. The wart is gently eased off the skin by cauterising the fibrous tissue that attaches them to the skin.
A scab will form and when fully healed the scab will drop off to reveal new clean skin underneath. Another method is Laser seborrhoeic keratosis removal, this causes very little discomfort for the patient and the chance of scarring is minimal.
The treatment itself will only last around 15 minutes for the removal of one seborrhoeic
keratosis. A seborrhoeic keratosis or seborrhoeic wart is a very common skin lesion. They
generally have a flat but wart-like surface and typically look like they are stuck on to the skin. At the start they are skin coloured and barely noticeable but with time they become gradually more visible and darker in colour.
